Rainbow Florists is a third generation family owned and operated florist & Greenhouse serving the Waterloo-Cedar Falls area for the last 75 years.

Our Waterloo Store is a fully staff retail store with a large greenhouse allowing us to provide you with many types of floral arrangements, plants or gifts you might need. We carry a large selection of gift items including among other things- crystal, stuffed animals, balloons, gift baskets, ceramics, wicker and silk.

Our staff will personally help you select the right gift for your occasion, arrange that item and deliver it to the recipient in the Waterloo-Cedar Falls area. We also deliver to the cities of Dike, Dunkerton, Finchford, Gilbertville, Hudson, Janesville, New Hartford, Raymond and Washburn.

We can also help you with orders outside our delivery area. Through a large yet select group of florists, we are able to have flowers, plants and gift baskets delivered worldwide!

Place your order by 1:00 CDT and we can deliver that same day!

Our shop is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

We are closed Sundays.

To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least 1 day prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.

Our shop will always be closed on the following holidays:

We grow our own poinsettias, lilies and a huge assortment of beautiful hanging baskets very popular for Mother’s Day. We carry fruit and gourmet baskets, crystal, brass and stained glass. We are well known for our home grown garden and bedding plants available mid April through June!

A local delivery fee of $6.00 will be added to each order, for each address. (For deliveries outside our local delivery area, this fee may vary.) A fee of $11.50 will be applied for all out of town (call out) orders. This fee is a combination of 6.50 for delivery fee and a 5.00 handling fee.

U.S. orders must be received before 2:00 p.m. in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.

We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it.

We are unable to make deliveries on Sunday. Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day.

Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.

We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the Internet.

Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.
